Summer Mini-Makeover Announced

Summer Mini-Makeover Rally!

Thursday, JULY 31st thru Sunday, AUG 3rd

The 2014/15 school year begins August 12th with an incredible group of families (including a third Kinder class!). This annual event is a great way to make an early donation to Cheremoya Foundation, as well as work alongside good friends and neighbors at our cherished neighborhood elementary school.

Scope includes:
• paint, sanding and staining

• new classroom beautification and cleaning

• improved lighting installation

 

Weekday and weekend participation options — ALWAYS highly organized/scheduled (including good food).  ALWAYS FUN AND REWARDING.  Especially when the students return to find even greater TLC at Cheremoya from its community!

Roll up your sleeves and beautify Hollywood’s neighborhood school! Meet the fabulous current and future parents of Cheremoya Elementary, while having fun investing in your community. There will be lunch and beverages served.

Goodwill Fundraiser

Beachwood Canyon Neighbors – Cheremoya Elementary needs your help!

The Cheremoya Foundation has partnered with the Goodwill for a fundraiser!

100% of proceeds will go towards funding the children’s YMCA Physical Education (PE) program.

Our goal is to raise $5,000.00

Clean your closets, cupboards, garages, rental storage units – tell your family, friends and neighbors.

Drop your donations off at the Beachwood Village – Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27 from 10AM – 2PM

Or the day of the event – NOVEMBER 9th at the school

Acceptable items include:  clothing, shoes, accessories (infant to adult), cookware, dishware, utensils, crafts, curtains, giftware and knickknacks, glassware, hand tools and small power tools, holiday decorations, jewelry, lamps, lamp shades, sporting goods, sleeping bags, televisions (19” or smaller), vcr’s, dvr’s, books, bedspreads, blankets, liners, audio/visual equipment, artwork, frames and antiques and collectibles, vacuum cleaners, small furniture–chairs, small tables–no big bulky upholstered furniture.
